Welcome to Pagosa Springs Elementary School

Pagosa Springs Elementary is a vibrant learning community of students grades kindergarten through fourth.  Students come from Archuleta County in southwest Colorado and meet in historic Pagosa Springs. The school places an emphasis on the whole child, nurturing intellectual, social-emotional, physical, and artistic aspects of each child.

CATCH Program keeps kids moving

CATCH (Coordinated Approach To Child Health) is an after school program geared to teaching urban commuting (biking and walking safely in Pagosa), fitness, and holistic health. We workout everyday and learn how tot fuel our bodies for our adventures. We snowshoe, cross country ski, bike, hike, play games, and have tons of fun!

Join Us

Our Middle School won the inaugural 2015 Governor’s Award for Healthy Schools competing with 43 other schools for this honor. In 2016, our Elementary School also won a healthy award grant. Our Special Talents teacher, Mary Kurt-Mason was named in People Magazine as “Teacher of the Year”.
