STEM Class

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.   We do a little bit of each in the class.

The students learn about rockets, airplanes, magnets, electricity, robotics and more.   They are learning basic computer coding principles and the third and 4th graders are learning how to 3D print.   They are also learning the engineer design process by doing some building challenges. The students receive limited supplies and have to build a specified item along with specifications.  For example they have to build the tallest tower they can using spaghetti noodles, tape and string. It must be able to support a marshmallow.
