Haley Wilson - Fourth grade

Mrs. Wilson was born in Boulder, Colorado. She grew up in the Denver suburbs and enjoyed many weekend adventures in the mountains with her family. Later, her family moved to Ohio, where she graduated from Mount Vernon High School.
Even at a young age, Mrs. Wilson knew she wanted to be a teacher. She would often play school with all her stuffed animals. After graduation, Mrs. Wilson knew she wanted to return to Colorado. She chose to attend the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley to obtain her degree in Elementary Teaching.
After graduating, she began her teaching career in Amarillo, Texas. She taught for three years as a third grade Math, Science and Social Studies teacher. While on a ski trip to Wolf Creek, Mrs. Wilson fell in love with Pagosa Springs. This prompted her to make the move to Pagosa in May of 2020. Mrs. Wilson loves teaching fourth grade in Pagosa and being a part of the Pirate Community.
In her free time, Mrs. Wilson enjoys cooking, baking, reading, coloring and crafting. She also enjoys going on adventures with her dog Sahara and her husband Nick.
