Pagosa Springs Elementary is a vibrant learning community of students grades kindergarten through fourth. The school places an emphasis on the whole child, nurturing intellectual, social-emotional, physical, and artistic aspects of each child.  We look forward to educating our students Mon.-Thurs. 7:45 am - 3:15 pm.

Kindergarten Orientation for 2024-2025 School Year

Enrollment forms can be picked up at PSES office or found here online.
Please provide copies of birth certificate and immunization records.
Students entering kindergarten must be 5 by October 1. If you have any questions, please call 970-264-2229.

Our Middle School won the inaugural 2015 Governor’s Award for Healthy Schools competing with 43 other schools for this honor. In 2016, our Elementary School also won a healthy award grant. Our Special Talents teacher, Mary Kurt-Mason was named in People Magazine as “Teacher of the Year”.
