Kelly Coleman is a Pagosa Springs High School Graduate (Class of '07). She graduated from Fort Lewis College with her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Kelly has always known that she wanted to be a teacher. Growing up in Pagosa Springs, she was blessed to have some wonderful mentor teachers who inspired her and fueled her love for learning and teaching. Kelly was also able to complete all of her practicum hours and student teaching here at Pagosa Springs Elementary and really fell in love with the community, the environment, and of course, the students here. 

Kelly and her husband, along with her two beautiful children, love the town of Pagosa and the surrounding area. In their free time, they love to ski, hike, kayak, camp, watch sports, and explore the surrounding area. Kelly also enjoys reading, playing games, cooking, and photography. She considers herself the luckiest person in the world to be able to live and work in such a beautiful place, full of opportunities!
