Pagosa Springs Elementary is a vibrant learning community of students grades kindergarten through fourth. The school places an emphasis on the whole child, nurturing intellectual, social-emotional, physical, and artistic aspects of each child.  We look forward to educating our students Mon.-Thurs. 7:55 am - 3:25 pm & Fri. from 7:55 am - 1:25 pm.

To celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday (March 2nd) and Read Across America Day, we will be celebrating with a theme each day the week of March 2nd - 5th! Monday, March 2nd - "Green Eggs and Ham" - WEAR THE COLOR GREEN Tuesday, March 3rd - "The Cat in the Hat" - WEAR YOUR FAVORITE HAT Wednesday, March 4th - "Fox in Socks" - WEAR SILLY OR MISMATCHED SOCKS Thursday, March 5th - "Sneetches" - DRESS LIKE A STAR

Stars of Fine Arts Night - March 11th from 5:00 - 7:00

PSES presents the Stars of Fine Arts Night. Save the date for our Fine Arts Night on Wednesday, March 11th from 5:00 - 7:00. A pasta dinner will be served. After dinner, take an art walk through the building to see some of the art work created by our star students. There will be dance performances, auctions, and the book fair will be open and much more!

Our Middle School won the inaugural 2015 Governor’s Award for Healthy Schools competing with 43 other schools for this honor. In 2016, our Elementary School also won a healthy award grant. Our Special Talents teacher, Mary Kurt-Mason was named in People Magazine as “Teacher of the Year”.
