Kindergarten Registration - Now enrolling 2020/2021 school year

Pagosa Springs Elementary is enrolling kindergarten students for the 2020/21 school year. Enrollment forms can be found online at https://elementary.mypagosaschools.com/ under the PARENTS & STUDENTS tab on the elementary website. Completed packet, a copy of birth certificate and immunizations records can be dropped off at the elementary school front office starting August 17th. Our office staff can be reached at 970-264-2229. We look forward to meeting all our upcoming kindergartners.

Welcome to PSES

Pagosa Springs Elementary is a vibrant learning community of students grades kindergarten through fourth. The school places an emphasis on the whole child, nurturing intellectual, social-emotional, physical, and artistic aspects of each child.  We look forward to educating our students Mon.-Thurs. 7:55 am - 3:25 pm & Fri. from 7:55 am - 1:25 pm.

ASD announces exciting summer initiative: Baby & Toddler Supply Packages Available

Throughout the summer, ASD will continue to provide summer breakfast and lunch every weekday. Meals are delivered via school buses or available for pick up at the high school. In addition, Archuleta County DHS is providing baby and toddler supply kits that include diapers/ pull-ups, wipes and formula. These will be available to families at the high school between 9 am and noon.

Summer Food Delivery Bus Stops and Times

This summer, the school district has received a grant to provide sack meals (breakfast and lunch) to children from the age of 0-18. We have modified the routes to better serve our community. Please make sure you double check the time that your stop is receiving sack meals. If you have any questions, please call the Transportation Department at 970-264-0392 ext 608.

Our Middle School won the inaugural 2015 Governor’s Award for Healthy Schools competing with 43 other schools for this honor. In 2016, our Elementary School also won a healthy award grant. Our Special Talents teacher, Mary Kurt-Mason was named in People Magazine as “Teacher of the Year”.
