Welcome to PSES

Pagosa Springs Elementary is a vibrant learning community of students grades kindergarten through fourth. The school places an emphasis on the whole child, nurturing intellectual, social-emotional, physical, and artistic aspects of each child.  We look forward to educating our students Mon.-Thurs. 7:55 am - 2:50 pm.  Friday's are a STAFF ONLY work day.

Due to the current rise in COVID-19 cases in Archuleta county, the school district has decided that beginning Monday, November 30 the entire district will move to remote learning. Remote learning will continue through Christmas break. Please see story to read the full letter from Superintendent LeBlanc-Esparza.

Our Middle School won the inaugural 2015 Governor’s Award for Healthy Schools competing with 43 other schools for this honor. In 2016, our Elementary School also won a healthy award grant. Our Special Talents teacher, Mary Kurt-Mason was named in People Magazine as “Teacher of the Year”.
