Welcome to PSES

Pagosa Springs Elementary is a vibrant learning community of students grades kindergarten through fourth. The school places an emphasis on the whole child, nurturing intellectual, social-emotional, physical, and artistic aspects of each child.  We look forward to educating our students Mon.-Thurs. 7:55 am - 2:50 pm.  Friday's are a STAFF ONLY workday.

ASD Announces Plans to Host a JumpStart to the School Year for all Students.

Join Archuleta School District in our exciting JumpStart to School Year in August. The Jumpstart to School Year Program will be a dynamic, hands-on, relevant learning experience for all students. Students will build on collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking skills through real world learning. This 2-week Jumpstart to the School Year will also allow students to build meaningful relationships with each other and with staff. JumpStart to the School Year will run August 16th - August 27th., is open for all Archuleta students grades K-12, and will be taught by ASD's phenomenal teachers. Transportation and meals will be provided-no cost to families. For more information on this exciting JumpStart program or to reserve your child's space today--call the schools-numbers listed below. Enrollment Forms

Pagosa Springs Elementary 2021/22 Kindergarten registration is now open. Paperwork can be picked up at our office or found online at : https://elementary.mypagosaschools.com/ Under the PARENTS & STUDENTS tab and Enrollment. Registration paperwork, along with a copy of birth certificate, and immunization records can be dropped off at PSES between 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday - Friday until June 4th.

Our Middle School won the inaugural 2015 Governor’s Award for Healthy Schools competing with 43 other schools for this honor. In 2016, our Elementary School also won a healthy award grant. Our Special Talents teacher, Mary Kurt-Mason was named in People Magazine as “Teacher of the Year”.
