My name is Jeannie Abbas and I am delighted to learn with your student this year! I am dedicated to helping your student realize their brilliance and discover joy in learning.

This is my second year  at PSES, but my 9th year as an elementary teacher. I received my Post-Baccalaureate Teaching License from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2017. I was raised in North Carolina and I moved to Colorado from Chicago where I graduated with a B.F.A. in acting from DePaul University. Last summer, I moved from Denver with my husband Jake, and our two sons Jack (7) and Jonah (2). Other than teaching, some of my favorite things to do are performing in plays, running, baking, hiking and reading.
