Tracy Schenk was raised in a military family and lived all over.  She graduated from Adams State University for both her bachelor's degree in education and then a master's degree is school counseling.

She has lived in Pagosa Springs, with her husband and three children, since 1997. All three of her children graduated from Pagosa Springs High School and have gone on to follow their dreams.  She also has three adorable grandchildren, whom she loves with all her heart!

 

Tracy taught in Pagosa Springs at the middle school about 14 years before becoming an elementary school counselor.  She loves her job and the elementary.  Her passion is prevention and early intervention with children.  She also enjoys assisting teachers and parents in working with their students.

 

When Mrs. Schenk isn't working, she enjoys visiting her children and grandson.  Hiking, going to the lake, and riding her bike are favorite outdoor activities with her husband (and which ever kid is home).  She is an avid reader and traveling will continue in her future.
