Dean of Students Message

Welcome to Pagosa Springs Elementary!

I hope that all students and families had a relaxing summer and are recharged for the upcoming school year.  I am excited and looking forward to each of us having a successful year together.  

In the new Dean of Students position, I will make it a top priority to create a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students.  I will strive to oversee attendance, behavior and discipline in a most consistent and caring manner.  Pagosa Springs Elementary School holds high expectations for student learning.  I will do my best to ensure that each student is surrounded by a positive and supportive climate.

I view my position as an opportunity to encourage and support students in becoming responsible, future leaders.  My goal is to celebrate respectful behavior and students being present (focused and engaged).  I also imagine each student making a difference in our school community.  

I believe that student success is a product of support from both home and school.  This partnership allows students to thrive in a most positive way.  Thank you for your support as we work together to make this school year great!
